Client project for Chopra's Designs

In January of 2023, I was hired by Jaipur based, Chopra's Designs to create an interactive and immersive installation at the Jai Mahal Palace in Jaipur. The installation was a LED enterance tunnel for an event, where the floors and the walls of the tunnels were LED walls and the ceiling was covered with a reflective material.
The theme for the event was of galaxies far and beyond and in the tunnel we wanted to create an experience of walking through Van Gogh's Starry Night. My role on the project was to work with the Creative Director to achieve the vision of the client and execute the technical portion of the project. I was responsible for creating a generative and real-time effect in TouchDesigner that emulated the famous painting and also add a layer of interactivity to it to elevate the guest experience in the tunnel. We placed four Kinect sensors in the ceiling and used their data to drive the interactions in the space. I was also on-site to ensure the smooth setup, install and operation of the installation.
